(NOTE: This interview was held with a previous publisher I no longer write for.) On February 19th, 2013, I sat down with activist and author John Perkins to discuss his experiences working in international corporate finance. In the conversation, he discussed his time as an "economic hit-man," negotiating rigged loan packages to the developing world on behalf of the IMF, World Bank, USAID and others for the purposes of economic imperialism and colonialism. He describes the history of economic hit-men, as well as steps taken to address the misdeeds of corporate powerhouses worldwide.
